RALEIGH, N.C. — Dominion Energy responded to a confirmed gas leak Thursday afternoon on Park Drive.
The incident was called in just before 5 p.m. Thursday near the 1900 block in a Raleigh neighborhood, just south of the Village district.
In a statement Dominon Energy says:
"Crews are working to secure the leak now. It was caused by excavation damage, not a car. In other words, it was struck due to digging work caused by a third-party."
Park Drive has opened back up between Groveland Avenue and Oberlin Road.
